Gym
We have had a major upgrade of the gym, including the introduction of the latest connected gym equipment from Matrix and an amazing functional training space featuring Technogym skillmills, skillrun and skillrow equipment. If you enjoy working out with the support of a tailor-made programme, our gym has a great range of cardiovascular and resistance machines for you to use, we have also introduced some new equipment for improved strength training as well.
Gym Floor Classes
Need a change from your gym workout? Come along to our gym floor classes, one of our qualified fitness instructors will guide you through different sets of exercises using a variety of equipment.
- Friday at 9.30am – 10.30am – NEW
- Monday: 10.15am
- Tuesday: 18.00pm
These classes help to build your confidence in the gym and also to improve your overall fitness levels.

Equipment
Here are a few of our key new pieces of equipment available now in the gym!
Skillrow is the first gym rowing machine capable of improving anaerobic power, aerobic capacity and neuromuscular abilities in a single solution. Our S force power trainer takes HIIT training to the next level with a resistance system and a specifically designed motion to provide low-impact and high-intensity exercise.
We also have assault bikes, sled tracks, functional training rigs and training zones, matrix ultra-strength range, free weight zones and power racks with lifting platforms.
Cross Circuit
Cross Circuit is a workout that combines both strength and cardio in one location. Taking into account the importance of your time and need for efficiency, along with the benefits of interval training creating maximum benefits in a minimal amount of time.
Junior Gym
For 12 – 15 year olds, helping to get children and teenagers into a healthy mindset and encourage regular exercise into their weekly routine.
Sessions are supervised by a qualified fitness instructor who will recommend appropriate exercises.
Please note that these are booked as one hour slots.

InBody

Exercise Referral
We also deliver a comprehensive exercise referral service. An exercise referral is a formal process whereby a clinician refers a patient to their local leisure provider to receive extended structured, (medical) condition-specific exercise instruction. Each of our Personal Trainers has a vast wealth of experience and will help you to reach your goals whilst having a positive experience at Bushey Grove. Our Personal Training programs can be used to train for a specific event, increase overall fitness and energy levels and help maintain a healthy weight plus offer nutritional advice.
